Waterproof Digital Camera
Could you imagine getting photos or videos TAKEN by the kiddo in your life? How cute would that be?!
Cooper has one of these and absolutely loves being a part of our documenting. Whenever we want to take videos or pictures, we pull out his and let him get the shot from his perspective. While we get ours. 😉 See it here!
A cute, good quality backpack
This bag ticked off all of our “must have” boxes in a kid’s backpack, and we’re sure the tiny traveler in your life would love it too. Plus the little bear on the back? Adorable.
Find it at Baby Lu & Co.
Because what kid doesn’t love receiving clothes. 😉 But seriously, any parent would appreciate this gift, since kids grow out of their clothes so quickly.
Ipad Mini / Regular Ipad
This one is more of a splurge item. Our son has an iPad mini and it has been helpful with keeping him busy when we need to work on something or talk to someone, and there are SO MANY educational apps out there to help them learn.
Magnetic Blocks or Legos
Magnetic blocks are useful because they stick together, meaning less pieces go missing! Plus they come in fun colors for the kids. Legos are also a great option, since they can be built in so many different ways.
We typically buy these at the dollar store. There are so many options and our son LOVES them. They can keep kids busy for hours. We particularly love the puffy stickers since he can grab them himself!
Plastic / Vinyl Animals
Our little guy LOVES his dinky cars. Anything with wheels is a winner in his books. We drive them along ledges in airports, we do imaginative play with them, and they’re small so he can fit his favourites into his Baby Lu & Co. backpack.
Cute Luggage Tags
I’m still looking for this one myself. I want to get all of us matching, but unique luggage tags this Christmas. It’s a fun little stocking stuffer and a very personalized gift.
For older kiddos
Journal & postcard Stamps
This one may not be useful for toddlers, but older kids are sure to appreciate it! Getting them a book with all of the different countries, and postcard stamps can help them keep track of where they’ve been, and journal about it.
Again, Spot It is for older children. However, toddlers could make their own game as well. It’s a game used for memory, and the whole family can play it. If you have older kids and toddlers, you can have the toddler match it with their plastic animals we talked about up above in this list.
Travel Sized Games
Another idea is to give the traveling kids in your life passes to museums, parks, or zoo’s in their next destination.
So there you have it, our top gift picks for kids on the move! If you have any additional ideas, leave them below!! It may help us with our shopping list.
